Earlier this month we attended Engaged! Magazineβs annual flagship event, featuring the best wedding professionals in the Washington, DC Metro Area. The event was hosted at four of the most prestigious hotels, including the W, Willard, Hay-Adams, and St. Regis. Each venue was dressed head to toe for a ceremony and reception event β complete with bands, passed appetizers, desserts, champagne, and more! At this event we met Julie Savage of Strawberry Milk Events, who was the master planner at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel. Re-connecting with Julie a week later, we discovered why she is quickly becoming one of the most sought after event planners in the area β her charming personality, creativity and ambition, and true passion for her work. Julie invited us to take part in a table top design she is planning for Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine β and of course we couldnβt stay no! The main emblem created by Chaiti (an element of surprise, to be revealed after the shoot) was partly inspired by the glass doorway architecture of The Anderson House, and partly by opulent Victorian glamour. The menu card was created on a textured shimmer gold paper, screen printed in mint green, and again gold foil stamped with menu selections. More details from the shoot to come in May!
