The long overdue post is here! We first met Anuj and Charu in the summer of 2011 for a wedding invitation consultation, and while the couple identified more with our modern South Asian invitation designs, they eventually compromised with their parents who were looking for a more traditional invitation. A few months later, Anuj was back in touch to have us design invitations for their Reception event hosted by his family in California over Christmas weekend. Still looking to keep some South Asian flair, the design featured the Paisley Pavo layout – with henna designs in a dull yellow and an abstract peacock in a deep forest green. It was a pleasure working with Anuj and Aparna, and we wish them a wonderful first year of marriage in 2012.
