We are long overdue on blogging about Shameet and Greta’s breath-taking wedding! The college sweet hearts tied the knot at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Washington, DC. As they recognized that many of their guests would be attending a Hindu wedding for the first time, they spent a lot of time and energy customizing a ceremony booklet that described all of the traditions in great detail. As with many of our creative couples – they wanted their wedding day materials to stand out, something truly never done before. And so, we worked with the groom Shameet to create a custom die cut in the shape of their monogram in which the booklet would be printed and assembled. Shameet also designed menu cards, table numbers, and place cards – which we helped him execute and finish. The detail photographs of their big day captured by their photographers, The Regetis.

For the inspiration of this custom design, our groom shared a fond childhood memory of spending time with his grandmother in her garden with peacocks around in India and our bride’s favorite thing is growing tropical plants in their shared apartment. We brought both together and added texture with a bit of laser cut and foil in this design for Josh & Kachine’s multicultural wedding at a garden in Northern Cali.
