We knew from our first meeting with Vani late last year that that custom designing her invitations was going to be one of our favorite projects. A creative bride who loves stationery, she had planned specific themes to accompany each of her wedding events and wanted to express these in the form of symbols on each insert. Her wedding insert highlighted a Ganesh symbol in a deep red color, highlighting the traditional and religious nature of the event. The sangeetham, an event full of color and celebration, was symbolized with a peacock feather. Finally, the reception event which would be brightly lit to celebrate the special occasion was marked with an Indian diya. The bronze folder that held these inserts carried a blind-embossed imprint of the couple’s monogram.
