A SOPHISTICATED CANDLELIT DESTINATION WEDDING IN MEXICO CITY
Erick and Robert's destination wedding in Mexico City was a beautiful and sophisticated affair, with every detail, from their embossed wedding invitations to all the
custom wedding stationery, gold foil menus, programs and more were perfectly designed to reflect the couple's love of travel and luxury in shades of black, ivory and gold.
All the details were thoughtfully by AtelierAzure for this black tie, masculine, and classy celebration.
The invitation design, created by Atelier Azure, was the perfect representation of the couple's style. The smooth black matte cardstock and satin finish gold foil were accented with clean typography and an embossed monogram featuring the couple's initials and an illustration of the Mexico City skyline. The invitation set the tone for the entire wedding, which was to be a luxurious and sophisticated affair.
The wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Ex Convento de San Hipolito, a 16th-century convent that has been beautifully restored and transformed into a luxurious hacienda-style venue. Carlos Espino Deautor, a local wedding planner and decorator specializing in luxury weddings, was enlisted to bring Erick and Robert's vision to life. The decor was predominantly chic white and ivory with green and gold touches, perfectly reflecting the couple's sophisticated and understated style.

Atelier Azure also designed the couple's custom heirloom monogram wax seal, which was applied to the envelopes of their invitation in prosecco gold wax. For the inspiration of this custom design, our groom shared a fond childhood memory of spending time with his grandmother in her garden with peacocks around in India and our brideโs favorite thing is growing tropical plants in their shared apartment. We brought both together and added texture with a bit of laser cut and foil in this design for Josh & Kachineโs multicultural wedding at a garden in Northern Cali.
